The Coordinating Board
The Center for Advanced Research and Comprehensive Approach of Cancer is co-directed by:
(1) Professor, MD, PhD., Patriciu Achimaș
(2) Professor, Psy, PhD, Daniel David
The Scientific secretary of the Center is Dr. Ovidiu Bălăcescu.
Associate professor, PhD, Degi Csaba, the president of the European Cancer Organisation, is part of the Coordinating Board of the Center.
The team includes mainly the scientific and clinical staff from the groups coordinated by professors David and Achimaș (including also the teams of the other two members of the Coordinating Board). The research infrastructures are state of the art, both from a biomedical perspective (e.g., mammography instruments – SENOGRAPHE PRISTINA 3D; see also the INSPIRE Platform and the BioNanoMedicine Unit) and from a psychosocial perspective (e.g., see the UBBMed).
